I really enjoyed reading Madeline Miller’s novel, “The Song of Achilles”. The book follows the complex relationship between the protagonist, Patroclus and his lover, Achilles. The combination of intricate and beautiful descriptions of the characters enabled me to visualise the novel as I read. Furthermore, the
themes of pride, love and power in the novel enthralled me and I was unable to put the book down. This is definitely a book I would recommend.
